Collaboration Policies
The following documentation describes the policies and guidelines by which the Sloan Digital Sky Survey collaboration operates. The collaboration policies are based on the ARC Principles of Operation of the SDSS.
Currently approved policies:
Policies that are in effect, but not yet officially approved:
- Continuing Participant Status After Departure from an SDSS Institution
- Early Collaborative Use of SDSS Data with Non-Participants
- SDSS Data Access by Graduate Students and Postdocs
It is Survey policy that any paper using SDSS data must properly acknowledge the funding agencies and Participating Institutions of the SDSS, as given at http://classic.sdss.org/collaboration/credits.php. This is also the official acknowledgment appropriate for press releases and other materials describing the SDSS.
